Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol
Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol (PEA) has been the flagship product of Harmony Organics for almost two decades now. Initially Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol was manufactured using Benzene and Ethylene Oxide but over time our in house R&D allowed us to switch over to a more competitive process route starting from Styrene. Currently, Harmony has an installed capacity of 6000 TPA of Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol which is of the highest quality suitable for food and flavor applications. In addition to PEA we are also selling Styrene Oxide (SO) which is a valuable intermediate for manufacturing several Pharma APIs.
Our next capacity expansion project is currently in progress at the Kurkumbh site. This will take our installed capacity for Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol to 8400 TPA by early 2022. In addition to capacity increase the project will also upgrade our site infrastructure to enable us to lower our cost of production and increase consistency and reliability to higher levels.
